May 2, 2026 : we launched a Road Safety Awareness program at Sir C.V. Raman General Hospital, Indiranagar, Bangalore. This is to promote defensive driving and make our roads safer. English and Kannada posters bring awareness about different aspects of road safety. Since many of the crashes on our roads are due to bad choices made by road users, our posters urge them to make the good choices. These posters were placed in different wards of the hospital to reach a wider audience.
The event was graced by Dr. K.S. Rajesh, Medical Superintendent of the hospital; Dr. Shashikala, Resident Medical Officer (RMO); Ms. Kavitha, Sub-Inspector; and Mr. Madhusudhan, Assistant Sub-Inspector from Jeevan Bima Nagar Traffic Police, who attended as special guests.
This campaign was possible because of Mr. Suresh Kumar, Founder of the GiveWay Foundation. It was his idea. He convinced the Hospital and the Bangalore Traffic Police to lend their support, and put together these posters.
Sharing a few pictures from the event, and a couple of posters.
